The golf course was opened in 1977 and the Club was formed in 1978. The Course is run by Leicester City Council
Besides the 18 hole golf course there is also a 9 hole pitch n putt course, a putting green, a practice area for bunker play and chipping and a 30 bay floodlit driving range.
